New self-assessment tool goes live to members later today

Assess skills, set goals, map pathway

You may have heard about the competency framework - hundreds of members like you helped to build it - now it’s ready to reveal.

Later today, we’ll be emailing members to provide exclusive access to the beta release of a new online self-assessment tool.

In 3 easy steps, members will be able to:

  • Assess their current skills
  • Set professional goals
  • Map their career pathway

This beta release and the member feedback we get at this phase will help us to support career aspirations across the membership. It will help us to improve the tool as well.

It’s important in this early phase to get as many members as possible accessing the self-assessment tool and completing the process so we can all benefit from a representative sample of member feedback.

This is where you can really help us. Whilst it’s entirely a voluntary exercise, if you can spare the time to get online to use the tool soon after the member announcement later today we’d be grateful for your support. You will receive the same email as everyone else, which will contain all the details you need to access the tool, so there’s no need to take action until then.

Then please use your professional networks to encourage others to do the same, share your positive stories with them (share the negative ones with us so we can put any glitches right please!)

As always we really appreciate your support. Thank you.
